I have received great personal rewards from practicing Periodontics over the last 41 years, however the time has come for me to retire. I am thankful for the many relationships that have developed over the years with my patients and referring Doctors. It has been my honor and privilege to be your specialist in the field of Periodontics. I now look forward to concentrating on enjoying life with my family, friends and many traveling adventures.
Finding an outstanding professional to assume my position has been an important, comprehensive, and extensive process.
After diligently searching, I am happy to announce that Dr. Mehmet Akif Eskan will be stepping into that role. Dr. Eskan is a Board-Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon. After receiving his DDS with honors, he completed his specialty training at the University of Louisville not only in Periodontics and Dental Implantology, but also with a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Eskan was one of the recipients of the Tarrson Regeneration Scholarship by the American Academy of Periodontology and won the prestigious Billy M. Pennel Research competition for his clinical research in bone regeneration. He has received many accolades for his research and journals that have been published globally.
Dr. Eskan has been practicing for 11 years as a Periodontist and Implant Surgeon. He is highly skilled and qualified and will be a driving force to keep advancing services and the level of care you have come to expect. Dr. Eskan resides here in Naperville with his family and is looking forward to providing you with expertise along with kindness and compassion.
Our wonderful staff will continue to serve your needs alongside Dr. Eskan. As I step away, it is comforting to know that you will still be provided with the excellent quality of care you have come to expect from our office.
